Valentine's Crafts & Games at the Haven Lakewood

Join us for a holiday volunteer event at the Haven Lakewood.

We'll start by helping the residents make some Valentine's Hearts to decorate their activity room/rooms. We'll be stickers, markers, and washable glitter glue. Once the kiddos make one heart to share, they can make one heart for themselves to take home. We'll also have coloring pages/paper, if they finish early. 

Next we'll play some simple games like Simon Says, charades, or pass the parcel to interact with the residents. They really love spending time with the kids, so games are a fun way to connect.

If you're parking at the Haven, you can park on the fenced spots right when you turn off of Marlowe. You can also park under the trees which is over by the dumpster area. Either is fine. The signs for towing are because it is for their lot. So don't worry- you will not…
