You must register here: https://adopt.greatlakes.org/s/cleanup/a2oPm000000CxVl/aab22907 Please note the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA as your "Organization/Youth Group Name", so that they will bring enough small gloves and buckets for us. On the day of the event, you'll also need to sign a waiver for yourself and any underage volunteers.
Where: Perkins Beach, Edgewater Park. If you plan to drive there, you can park at Edgewater Park Lower West Parking, 10001 Cliff Dr, Cleveland, OH 44102 and look for the Drink Local Drink Tap registration table. We'll meet around there at 11am.
Our work cleaning up the beach will help to keep our Great Lake great. Drink Local Drink Tap has been organizing beach clean-ups since 2010 and they welcome all aged volunteers. They will have smaller gloves and buckets, however, you are also free to bring your own, too. They also have grabbers, which kids seem to love, but feel free to bring your own if you have one since they are first come first served. Please be sure to wear your sunscreen, hat or sunglasses, and Water shoes or Crocs, just in case the sand is hot.
